About this service
Residential installation is the whole display handled for you. We look at the house, agree a design with you, then install and test everything so the home is lit the evening we finish.
Laguna Beach homes vary more than most: a beach cottage with low eaves, a hillside house reached by a long stair, a modern home built around its view. The design starts from the house in front of us, and you decide how far it goes, from one warm-white roofline to the entry, the garden and the trees.

What a typical job covers
- Design walk-through
- We confirm which rooflines, railings, windows, trees and paths are lit, where the power comes from and how each area is reached.
- Installation
- Lights go up with clips chosen for the surface, whether tile, shingle, gutter, stucco edge or wood fascia, so the lines stay straight and secure.
- Power and timers
- The display is planned around the outdoor outlets you have. If a timer is part of the design, it's set to your schedule.
- Switch-on
- Every run is switched on and checked before we leave, so you see the finished display.
What shapes the quote
- How much roofline there is, and whether the home has one story or more
- Access: stairs, slopes, side yards and where equipment can be set up
- Roof pitch, height and material
- How many trees, railings and features are included
Good to know
- A street address and a few photos of the front of the house are usually enough to start a quote.
- On narrow or steep streets, tell us where a vehicle can stop. We plan the installation day around it.
- If your home is in an association, check its rules on exterior decorations and dates early. We can design within them.

All questionsDo I need to be home for the installation?
It helps if someone is around at the start to confirm the design, the outlets and access to gates or side yards. After that the work is all outside. Your booking confirmation sets out what's needed for your property.
Can I choose warm white or multicolor lights?
Yes. Color, bulb style and spacing are part of the design. Warm white is the most requested look for a classic outline, and multicolor or a mix is just as possible. Your quote lists what's proposed for each part of the home.
Who provides the lights?
Your written quote states exactly what's provided for your installation, including lights, clips, cords and timers, so there are no surprises.
